Glencorse Burn
The Pentlands National Park is a stunning place, a vast area where nature is on a pure state and everything works in a fantastic balance between nature and human.
There are several farms integrated on the park that run in a perfect balance with the wildlife, it is indeed a fantastic place to visit.
The park as a lot of different trails for walking, bicycle trails, you can if you are feeling upt to it give a dive in the water reservoir if you have a strong resilience to the water temperature that we can say its a bit on the fresh side 🙂
There is a small car park at the entrance of the park where you can leave your car, it is a very small park so be sure to be prepared to wait for a spot or come early on the day.
There is also a small caffe that serves a delicious coffee,a wide variety of cakes and good food if you are feeling hungry.
I would recommend without a doubt a visit to this place, if you like stunning views, calm and relaxing environment, enjoy some good walking this is the place to be.
A very short trip from Edinburgh city center and you are in the middle of nature, reserve a day for this, take some good food with you and enjoy the views.
There is a space next to the car park and coffee with some tables and benches for a nice and relaxing picnic in nature, pack up and enjoy if you have the luck to come in on a sunny day 🙂
See you on the next one, have a great one.
